Sampling theorem
With A/D conversion, the sampling theorem must be taken into account. This is necessary in order to reconstruct a signal most closely corresponding to the original signal after a D/A conversion. The following applies: The sampling frequency must be at least twice the signal frequency and the signal to be sampled must be limited by a low-pass filter.
