Technical Sales & Support Engineer - Hyderabad, AP, Telangana

This position is multi-faceted and requires a blend of engineering knowledge and communication skills.
This position will be based initially from home office and later from office at Raj bhavan road, Somajiguda 500082 at Hyderabad.

The well-suited candidate will conduct intensive sales and perform demonstrations in AP & Telangana for solving customer applications.
As part of our technical sales team, the candidate will work on increasing the business number of Micro-Epsilon in the said region and provide service and support for installation and commissioning.

After a technical product and sales training, the candidate will market Micro-Epsilon products in the assigned region intensively.

The candidate will report to the Pune Office.

Your Task:

Job duties:

  • Visiting Customers on daily basis and generating customer database and sales for Micro-Epsilon products.
  • Attend Enquiry, Quotation, Selection of Part numbers and Configuration of the system.
  • Perform demonstration of the sensors and/or give solution for applications using Micro-Epsilon sensors.
  • Do after sales commissioning and or installation support.
  • Follow up of quotation and updating in system either self or with help of Sales Coordinator
  • Achieve sales Target for respective region, new business generation.
  • Make visit reports regularly as per visits
  • Technical and sales communication via visits, phone and email
  • Representing Micro-Epsilon India during Exhibitions
  • Application testing and documentation of the results
Your Profile:

Requirements:

  • Four-year engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics or sensor Technology.
  • Should be able to speak Local Language and English Fluently.
  • Minimum 2-year job experience in technical Sales or Support. Support Oriented candidates will be preferred for the job
  • Ideally should have an own car for local travel in Hyderabad, AP & Telangana 
  • Should be ready to travel regularly
  • Should have worked with tenders for government institutes or should be at least familiar with the tendering system
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Working with the Data Management System (ERP-System) of Micro-Epsilon India
  • Highly motivated and self-reliant
