Inclination sensors for high precision, dynamic angle measurements

inertialSENSORs measure angles, align machine parts and detect the position of moving components. They are easy to use and therefore well suited for a wide range of measurement tasks. Various analog and digital interfaces such as 0.5 ... 4.5 V, 4 ... 20 mA, CANopen and SAE J1939 facilitate their integration and offer comprehensive configuration options.

SensorFUSION technology

To stabilize the measurement signal in dynamic applications, the sensors use a 3D accelerometer with 3D gyroscope and integrated fusion filter. Intelligent algorithms ensure accurate measurement during motion. External influences such as impacts, centrifugal forces or vibrations, e.g. due to braking processes, rotary movements, stone impacts or engine vibration, do not affect the measurement.

Easy and flexible commissioning

Inclination sensors can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. Depending on the orientation and position of the sensor, the measuring axes can be freely defined and the desired angles selected. Integrated interfaces such as CANopen or SAE J1939 allow direct output of measured values as well as easy setting of sensor parameters.

Fields of application

The sensors are suitable for use in construction machinery (e.g. excavators, compactors), agricultural and forestry machinery (e.g. harvesting, mowing machines), in crane and lifting technology (e.g. mobile cranes, working platforms). The sensors are also used in laboratory and industrial applications for precise orientation of machine components.
