1- and 2-axis inclination sensor for dynamic applications
INC5502D sensors are used for precise measurement of angles, orientation of machine parts and position detection of moving components. The new SensorFUSION algorithm, optimally compensates for interferences and enables both reliable and accurate angle measurements. Depending on the measurement task, different types of angles (Euler or position angle) can be detected and output simultaneously in one or two axes.

Optimizing the accuracy by using application-specific parameter sets
To achieve the maximum performance of the sensor, Micro-Epsilon provides pre-configured parameter sets for certain standard applications on request. These can be transferred to the sensor quickly and easily using the sensorTOOL software.
An application-specific parameter set optimizes the measurement settings of the sensor and subsequently provides very accurate measurement values for the respective application. The presets are based on typical parameter combinations that have proven themselves in the specific application.
Precise inclination measurement in highly dynamic applications
Short response times and a stable, high signal quality even in the event of sudden motions, shocks and vibrations, are the outstanding characteristics of the INC5502D inertialSENSOR. Very accurate measurements are possible even during motion which is particularly favorable when used in moving machines and vehicles (e.g. construction machines, agricultural machines or forestry machines) as well as cranes and ships.

Strong performance with compact design
In dynamic applications, the sensors achieve accuracies of up to ± 0.3°. A robust plastic housing made of impact-resistant polyamide protects the sensor and offers maximum reliability and durability even in harsh environments. Its excellent temperature stability and high resistance to shocks, vibrations as well as moisture and dust (up to IP69K) make the sensor ideal for outdoor use in mobile machinery. The orientation of the sensor can be freely selected during installation, as the axis of rotation can be set as desired. The slim sensor design reduces integration and installation effort to a minimum.
