Mounting frame for capacitive sensors ensures highest precision
Capacitive sensors can be precisely aligned with each other using the new mounting frame. This principle enables highly precise measurement results, as the sensors are positioned exactly on one axis and thus congruently. The mounting frame is extremely compact and can therefore also be fitted into environments where space is at a premium.
Up to six sensors can be mounted on one mounting frame. Since two sensors each from a measuring point, up to three simultaneous measurements can be taken at different points. The mounting frame is designed for special requirements. It is both vacuum-compatible and temperature-stable at temperatures up to 100 °C. Therefore, the capacitive mounting frame is also used in high-precision applications such as the semiconductor industry for high-resolution thickness measurement of wafers and the battery industry for two-sided thickness measurement of battery as well as separator film.
